twice in as many days I have gone out to my beloved mini to find another incompetent human being has been using the touch parking method with my car. One has nicely scraped the back bumper, the other, tow bar boy(or girl), has left a golf ball shaped dent in the middle of the front bumper, right on the edge.

this annoys me for a number of reasons. first and foremost, it is entirely avoidable by using eyes, ears, mirrors and basic spatial awareness. secondly, people having the audacity to damage any car without owning up to it should be struck down by lightening. thirdly, being a knock who’s nature does not justify a claim on the insurance, it will be there forever. and finally, me being of aesthetic mind, just the knowledge of that dents existence in what should be a nice, clean, smooth, unbroken line is enough to drive me mad.
